Abstract
During a feature on Baragumu, a television program aired on Channel Ten, the Managing Director of the Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB), Mr. Frank Nyabundege, offered a compelling overview of the bank’s transformative role in the agricultural sector.
Mr. Nyabundege passionately articulated TADB’s mandate to catalyse the shift from subsistence farming to commercially driven agriculture. He highlighted the bank’s strategic interventions along the agricultural value chain, designed to empower farmers and agribusinesses with access to finance, knowledge, and markets.
He also acknowledged the pivotal support of the Government of Tanzania, particularly the substantial capital investments that continue to strengthen the bank’s ability to deliver on its mandate.
