    TADB staff, led by the Eastern Zonal Manager, Mr. Michael Madundo, received and provided information to visitors and stakeholders in agriculture, livestock, and fisheries who visited the TADB booth at the Nane Nane exhibitions, held at Dole Grounds, Kizimbani, Unguja. On August 1, 2024, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, Natural Resources, and Livestock, Hon.     The Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) commemorated International Women's Day with a special event that included seminars and celebrations aimed at promoting financial inclusion in agriculture. The event highlighted TADB’s commitment to empowering women in agribusiness through financial support, capacity-building programs, and policy advocacy. Key discussions revolved around the role of financial institutions in fostering gender equity in agricultural development, with a focus on access to credit, investment opportunities, and innovative financial solutions tailored for women. They also got a chance to visit one of the TADB client HOPE SUPER SEMBE where they learnt about how they run their operation.
