| dc.description.abstract | This report presents the 2025 development impact of the Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) in transforming the agricultural sector through innovative financing and value chain support. The Bank applied an integrated approach combining direct lending, catalytic financing, and technical assistance to improve productivity, enhance market access, and promote inclusive growth. In 2025, TADB significantly expanded its outreach, supporting over 85,000 farmers and reaching a cumulative total of more than 2.6 million beneficiaries, while also creating both direct and indirect employment opportunities. The report highlights key achievements in strengthening agricultural value chains, increasing access to finance for smallholder farmers, women, and youth, and promoting climate-smart agriculture. Through strategic investments in agro-processing, infrastructure, and financial systems, TADB contributed to food security, economic development, and poverty reduction in Tanzania. Overall, the report demonstrates how targeted financial interventions can drive sustainable agricultural transformation and inclusive economic growth. | |
